Heathy Food Haulin!


Went grocery shopping! YAY!


avocados, cucumber, grape tomatoes, LOTS of bananas, tangerines, dried mango, ZICO Chocolate, Builders bars, deli turkey, Amonde cultured almond milk yogurt, Nut-Thins (THESE ARE HEAVEN), whole grain bread, egg whites, puffed wheat and puffed rice cereal, natural nutty peanutbutter, kiwis, and some date rolls! MM!


Here's my breakfast from yesterday!


scrambled eggs & turkey, tomatoes, and a slice of Trader Joes cinnamon swirl bread made into french toast! With a bit of real maple syrup, bananas, and blueberries!

Finished week 1! Not tooo shabby... the green hearts means I accomplished it that day, and the X's means I didnt meet the goal..need to work on drinking water! Started out strong but fizzled out.

Holiday Weekend!

I went home over the weekend to be with family.
I drove back Friday & ran on our treadmill for 30 minutes when I got home!

Saturday we all went bowling and went out for dinner!

Sunday I drove back, after having breakfast with my family at the Summerland Beach Cafe!




I got low-fat vanilla yogurt w/ granola & fruit, a scrambled egg, and an english muffin!
SO tasty. I am a huuuge breakfast person.

Then we took a look around The Sacred Space. I ADORE this shop. It's amazing. They bring you tea while you look around at all the neat Buddha's and candles & crystals...& they have a gorgeous tranquil garden in the back!



Afterwards, I continued on back to SLO, where Sean came over to pick me up for dinner & a movie! When I opened the door, he was standing there with a 'Congrats!' balloon, a card, and a bunch of beautiful white roses.



Inside, it says "Congratulations! I counted out the days, this is officially my longest, happiest relationship. Oh Holly I love you a lot"
ISN'T THAT SO SWEET?! I love him to bits. So I got dressed up & we went to dinner & saw "Mama"! It was scary so we had to hold tight to each other... ;]

Today we made some greek yogurt pancakes with some scrambled egg whites & turkey bacon for breakfast! Then I had an awesome photoshoot with a friend. I'll post the pictures once I get them!
Now's time for homework, studying, a hot shower, and bed! 30 min run in the A.M.!!

Catch up!

I finished Wednesday off with a Late Night Yoga class that was AMAZING.

Thursday I had my jazz class for 2 hours and then went to 6 Pack Abs for 30 minutes.


Friday, I had my KINE 311 Strength Training Instruction class & then spent most of the day driving home..But once I got home I ran on our treadmill for 30 minutes! Then we had a chicken dinner & watched Pitch Perfect (loved it!).

Now that you're all caught up...lets see what happens this weekend....

Weigh-in Wednesday!

WOO! Just stepped on the scale this morning...130.2 lbs!
Down .8 lbs so far. It's something! :]

Just made myself a green juice for breakfast this morning, along with a hard-boiled egg (just the white).

 It's not bad! Juice of: 1 green apple, half a cucumber, some celery, two romaine leaves, lemon juice, and a tiiiny drop of honey! (couldn't help putting some of the lemon/honey mixture on my face, honey has antibacterial properties to combat acne, while lemon juice is brightening! Woo!)

My workout for the day! Couch-to-5k program. 
Ran/jogged/walked for 34 mins :] 

& I made these delicious morsels! Peanut butter, almond butter, a scoop of protein powder, some honey...roll them into balls, and coat with ground flaxseed! YUM!

Maui Girl

I've been wanting this bikini the last 2 years. I think it's adorable.
It's from a boutique in Maui, so if I end up going there on vacation this summer (which is where we're already planning to go), AND I've reached my goals...I think I'll deserve to get it. haha :]

Week 1

Just made this for the coming week! Pretty excited to get started. I'm going to actually plan out what my workouts are for each day as well, but that will be in my personal agenda book. :]


Good Health


I'm tired starting over. I need to stick with this & lose the extra weight once & for all! I really don't have much to lose, only 5 to 10 lbs tops. But I haven't managed to get this stubborn "Freshman 15" off and keep it off!
So this is where things change. This is where I make exercise a habit, a healthy lifestyle. I want to be able to run without stopping, to feel off if I don't work out one day. I want it to become a way of life.

I am in a Strength Training Instruction course towards my Kinesiology degree, so that should really help me with knowing what machines work which muscles! I hope to create a plan for myself when I go to the gym; to plan out which machines I will be using that day to focus on a particular body part.

I'll post my gym schedule and any other workouts I plan on doing in my Workouts tab up top!

I'm off to go grocery shopping & stock up on healthy foods! :]

Hello, blogging world!

I have had a Tumblr for a while now—er, a "fitblr"—and thought it would be nice to get (dare I say) a real blog!
This will be a lot more personal, and is going to highlight my journey towards my goal body and overall optimal health!
I am already a very healthy person, and have grown up eating whole, unprocessed foods. So, what I need to work on the most is exercise! I LOVE to exercise, and so many forms of it interest me. I just haven't been sticking with a set routine for long enough to lose this layer of fat and tone up!

I want to have my best physique by summer!

Lets do this!
